As the CFO for Indonesian operations, you will lead the overall finance function and serve as a strategic partner to the executive team across multiple countries. Your responsibilities include:
As the CFO for Indonesian operations, you will lead the overall finance function and serve as a strategic partner to the executive team across multiple countries. Your responsibilities include:
- Financial Management & Reporting : Oversee daily accounting operations (general ledger, AR/AP, monthly & annual closings). Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Taxation & Compliance : Lead tax planning and compliance (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes). Stay up to date with local tax regulations and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Audit & Internal Controls : Manage annual external and internal audits. Develop, document, and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Prepare and maintain the annual budget and rolling forecasts. Monitor financial KPIs, perform variance analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Cash & Treasury Management : Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. Supervise foreign exchange risks and cross-border fund transfers.
- Strategic Finance Partner : Advise the Board and executive team on financial strategies, capital allocation, and risk management. Support business development, pricing strategies, and investment analysis.
- International Trade & Tariff Compliance : Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and ASEAN–China trade tariffs. Oversee customs documentation and tariff planning for vehicle imports.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree and CPA certification preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years in senior finance roles, preferably within automotive, manufacturing, or trading sectors. Strong experience with taxation, auditing, and treasury in Indonesia. Familiarity with international trade finance and ASEAN–China tariff regulations.
- Language Skills : Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required. Working knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
- Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations: CIT, VAT, withholding, and transfer pricing. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis capabilities.
- Leadership & Communication : Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team. Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills, especially across Indonesia, China, and Singapore.
